During the sales process, it is found that many users do not know how to start when selecting the model of alloy wire of compensation wire. We know the general thermocouple selection process: model, graduation, explosion-proof grade, accuracy grade, installation and fixing form, protective tube material, length or insertion depth, etc. we should pay attention to the following aspects during selection:
1: Selection of measurement accuracy and temperature measurement range of compensation wire alloy wire. Generally, tungsten rhenium compensation wire alloy wire is selected when the service temperature is higher than 1800 ℃; When the temperature is between 1300 ~ 1800 ℃ and the accuracy is required, the B-type compensation conductor alloy wire is generally selected; S-type thermocouple and n-type thermocouple can be used at 1000 ~ 1300 ℃ with high precision; K-type thermocouple and n-type thermocouple are generally used below 1000 ℃, and E-type thermocouple is generally used below 400 ℃; T-type thermocouple is generally used for 0-250 ℃ measurement. At low temperature, T-type thermocouple is stable and has high precision. Of course, these are only a general selection. Finally, comprehensive factors should be considered for selection.
2: Consideration of durability and thermal response time of alloy wire of compensation conductor. Generally, the alloy wire of the compensation wire with large wire diameter has good durability, so the thermal response of the alloy wire of the compensation wire will be long. For the thermocouple with large heat capacity, the response will be slow. When measuring the temperature with large gradient, the temperature control will be poor under the condition of temperature control. If it is required to have certain durability and faster thermal response time, we recommend the armored couple produced by our company. In addition, it also has many advantages, such as simple installation, high precision, large measurement range, good economic benefits and so on.
3: It is necessary to consider the selection of the service environment of the alloy wire of the compensation wire. If the protective tube of the alloy wire of the compensation wire has good sealing performance, of course, there are few requirements in this regard. Generally speaking, type B, s and K thermocouples are suitable for use in strong oxidation and weak reduction atmosphere, and type J and t thermocouples are suitable for use in weak oxidation and reduction atmosphere.
4: The selection of compensation conductor alloy wire needs to consider the measurement medium, some media are moving and vibrating objects, used in high-pressure container environment, explosion-proof places, temperature measurement requires high mechanical strength, wear resistance, strong corrosion performance of some media, etc. we should give full consideration to these requirements when selecting thermocouple.
